Fortunately for you, these movie theaters are slowly returning to the public conscious after lying dormant for a period. During that period of inactivity, streaming services and movie studios began streaming new movies to their apps, which allowed you to watch them from the comfort of your own home. As those days slowly go by, more and more movies are beginning to exclusively premier on the big screen.
So, if you’re hankering to watch the next marvel movie to hit screens, then you need to head down to the El Morro Theatre, which is conveniently located in Gallup, New Mexico. The El Morro Theatre opened in 1928 with a seating capacity of 900. The building was uniquely designed with a Spanish Colonial style exterior. Currently, the theater is owned by the city of Gallup. It features performing arts, cultural events, as well as first-run movies.
Presently, the theater boasts of 430 seats and features devices with closed captioning and options to allow everyone to enjoy a modern entertainment experience. If you do plan on heading on over to the El Morro Theatre, be aware that the theater opens 30 minutes before showtime and ticket sales end 45 minutes into showings.
Prices
The price for a movie is currently $9 for an adult and $5 for a child aged 12 and under (with an adult present, of course). This price is fixed regardless of the time of the movie.

As of Nov. 22, 2021, El Morro Theatre is showing The Eternals and Ghostbusters. Features set to arrive include Clifford The Big Red Dog, West Side Story, Spiderman No Way Home, Sing 2, and Top Gun Maverick. Of course, these are subject to change at any time.
